Yadeto
Your gentle reminder
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
The short version: your reminders stay on your phone. You don't sign up for anything, and Yadeto sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
What Yadeto keeps, on your phone only
- Your reminders: what you typed, when they ring, how often they repeat, and their category (medicine, appointment, task, routine).
- Their history: for each reminder, whether it was taken or done, not confirmed, or skipped, and when.
- Your settings: text size, reminder sounds, and whether you have seen the welcome pages.
All of this is locked with strong protection, so only Yadeto on your phone can read it. Not even we can.
What Yadeto sends: nothing
- You don't need to sign up or give your name or email. Your reminders never leave your phone.
- There are no ads and no tracking of any kind.
- On Android, Yadeto can't even connect to the internet.
- We, the makers of Yadeto, never see your reminders or anything about how you use the app.
- We never sell, share or rent your information, because we never have it.
Notifications
A reminder appears as a notification with its name. Your phone's settings decide whether that name shows on the lock screen. Yadeto's Settings explain how to hide it.
Copies you choose to make
Save a copy creates a file of your reminders and lets you choose where it goes: email, Files, Google Drive, and so on.
- Anyone who can open this file can read it, so keep it somewhere you trust.
- Once it leaves Yadeto, it is kept under the privacy terms of wherever you put it.
- Yadeto deletes its own temporary copy within an hour.
Restore reads only the file you pick.
Your phone's own backups
Your reminders stay protected on your phone.
- Android: Yadeto is not included in the phone's automatic backup or in moving to a new phone. This keeps your reminders safe on the phone where you made them.
- iPhone: if you use iCloud Backup, your reminders are included, still protected, and come back when you set up a new iPhone from that backup.
To move to a new phone, use Save a copy in Yadeto, then Restore on the new phone.
What Yadeto uses on your phone
- Permissions: notifications; exact alarms, so reminders ring on time; starting again after the phone restarts; and vibration.
- Phone settings: on some phones, Yadeto checks a setting that affects reminders, such as whether notifications can vibrate, so it can tell you when reminders might be missed. It never changes your settings and never sends them anywhere.
Your rights and your data
Because everything stays on your phone, you are in control of it at all times. You can see, change, copy (with Save a copy) or delete your reminders yourself, whenever you like. We hold no information about you, so there is nothing for us to show, hand over or delete. If you have a question, you can still contact us.
Deleting your data
- Remove a reminder, then Delete forever it from Removed reminders. Removed reminders are deleted automatically after a year.
- Uninstalling Yadeto deletes everything it kept on your phone.
- Copies you saved elsewhere, and your phone's own backups, are not affected. Delete those where you saved them.
Children
Yadeto is not made for children. It collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Yadeto will never start sending your data anywhere without asking you first.
